Analyze Route/Check Calibration - Next Steps

Post by thooey »

I went on a short ride today, and my power numbers seemed very high for such an easy ride. The only thing different was I forgot water bottles, but I doubt the aero drag savings would impact anything.

When I got back and uploaded to Isaac, I did Analyze Route and it suggested some changes which looked closer to what I would have expected. I'm attaching original file prior to the Analyze Route Changes.

If I run Check Calibration it shows high on the Significance of profile changes.

I'm not sure if I Accept and Send Profile to iBike or what my next step should be. Thank you.

I agree with you.

For reasons that I don't completely understand, your rolling resistance is not right in the original file. The Check Calibration sets it to the correct value.

Load this profile into your Newton and all should be well
