I had my Newton 6 froze after I saw an error alert (6004) on launch of Isaac 4.0.0 and FW update to 5.13
I can't hard reset (up, centre and down buttons).
Suggestion?
I've attached a screen shot of the error message.
Mac OS10.12
Isaac 4.0.0
FW 5.13 (I can't wait to ride some chip seal. I've never said that before!)
Thanks.

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
I did manage to hard reset. After several tries with no success, I pushed ALL the buttons, out of frustration, and it did reset.
I wish there was a way to force re-boot without losing the preferences.

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
The only thing you will lose with a hard reset is the date and time. Everything else is unchanged.
You can restore date and time by connecting your device to Isaac, then using the "Device/Setup/Set Date and Time" command

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
Thanks John,
I did discovered that it was only the Newton system time that was set to a default, my jumping to a conclusion.
Any comment on the error code and freeze. Are they related or just random co-incidence?

Re: Newton 6 frozen - no hard reset
I'd try downloading the file again. If you still get the error code, then the ride file is corrupted (sorry) and you should erase the data from your Newton.
