Winter riding when its cold

Post by texmurphy »

I put the Newton outside for a half hour before my ride this morning. On actual ride start it read 3°F (-16°C) or about the same as my other thermometers. The Newton functioned well with expected power readings for the route. The display and button presses might have had slightly slower responses or else it was my thick gloves.
Battery still showed over 85% after 2.5 hours.

This is great!

The only thing you did not report on is YOU! Hopefully you also survived the ride... :D
