Hi there
I have been using the iBike Newton for over a year and LOVE it. It has been very consistent.
When I download and read the files, it shows a lot of wind to my "back" but not head wind which I know I have encountered a lot.
My last cal ride was done this summer and I can upload the file.
Thank you
wind port issue or/and malfunction?

Hey Drissmalet,
I am sure they will ask for the file so go ahead and upload it to save time!
Regards,
Russ

Yes, please upload a recent ride file that illustrates your problem.

Re: wind port issue or/and malfunction?
Thank you
I had posted this issue that I thought was drafting and a gentleman at the time (Racerfern, Fernando) had mentioned to check a wind port issue
I redid many calibration rides afterwards but didn't seem to fix
Most of rides last summer were in the mountains so it worked great uphill and was very accurate
So you know all my rides show tail wind constantly lower that head wind (most of the time 50%) which seems very odd to me...
But this has gotten worse.
The files are from a recent ride and ride done last year (which prompt Rcefern to ask me for checking the wind port)
Thank you for any help you can provide!

I would do a new calibration ride.
I can't tell from these files if you were drafting. A new Cal Ride should fix things.

Re: wind port issue or/and malfunction?
Thanks Velocomp
I will go ahead and do a new cal. Then see how it operates
I have a question regarding the cal ride. As mentioned, I live in very ondulating hilly area and it is almost impossible for me to find a long flat stretch to do calrides. I have to drive at least an hour down to do it
We have an athletic field that surrounds the Soccer fields. (Essentially where track is competed) This is with a asphalt surface.
Is it possible to perform a cal ride on this oval or would that not work at all? (This would be your typical Olympic size track) It is flat and very near where I live
Thanks

Yes, the track will work just fine. Ride for 5 minutes in one direction. Then stop, turn around, and ride around the track the other way until the "Done" message appears.
