Folks,
I bought an ibike a few years ago and really struggled with calibration for outdoor rides. I would try to use it in a race for pacing and for whatever reason (probably user error) I could never get the unit to work right. I did buy the trainer integration and used it as an indoor tool - loved it in this mode.
I keep reading about the Newton and am considering the upgrade.
I am a triathlete so only ride one bike. Is the calibration easier? Once calibrated, can I just ride and it should work properly.
As I said earlier I think a lot of the errors were because I may not have been using it properly, give me some feedback, advice. I have my A race coming up on Oct 26th and would love to use power to help ride the best I can.
Mike
