won't turn on?

I just purchased an ibike pro cadence used. Connected to computer just fine. Latest software and and firmware installed. Battery at 296. It won't turn on when attached to mount on bike. Is there an easy fix for this, or do I have a bad mount?

Hmmmm. I'm not sure what's going on, but contact John at Velocomp and he'll help you figure it out.

LOL!! It turns out this is a symtom of having no battery installed!! I'm a freaking genius...
