Max Slope on the Newton?

Post by cjonbike »

Does the Newton have a maximum slope that it can use?
I seem to remember that the Gen 3 could only go up to around a 23% grade! I could be very wrong!
For example:
If the Newton is sitting at my handle bars at an 12 degree angle! Is there climbs, that a bike can go up, that the newton would max out on?

I Thank you for your help and information!

The actual limit is whether or not your legs are strong enough to climb the hill. If you can climb it the Newton can measure it; it has nothing to do with the angle where the Newton is mounted on your bike.
