Rebate for Order?

Post by lorduintah »

It is really unfortunate that by using PayPal we get shorted on the rebate for preordering a Newton.

I won't go in to details, but that was not what I expected - but rather the full amount.

Tom,

I too used PayPal to upgrade to the Newton. I guess my question is, who is shorting us, PayPal or Velocomp? PayPal is convenient, but I do have some issues with them.

Folks, there are things we can control, but PayPal isn't one of them.

Every time we receive a customer payment from PayPal, we are "shorted"; we do not get the full amount of payment--PayPal extracts their pound of flesh. This is how they make money...

The same is true when money is sent the other way, from us to you. We are sending you the full refund, but PayPal charges the recipient for the service.
