Building up a new MTB, and it came with the new 35mm handlebar and stem. Nothing I have will fit which is to be expected, but not even on the stem. Has anyone come up with a solution?

I thought that was a good enough idea that I went and checked. Nope.

I have a dual mount, and just gave a look at putting it on. A dry fit to my alum bar worked great. I put new doublesided tape on, and got too greedy with tightening the bolts, and cracked the bottom clamp. I'm fixing that with super glue. So as long as you are careful with the torque, a dual mount has enough elasticity to work as a stop gap measure, until a proper 35mm option comes about. Well, inho.

I use a Newton solo front mount on my MTB, a Canyon Spectral 2015.

Check with Velocomp for compatibility before you purchase.

Is you're handlebar a 35mm or 31.8? As far as I can tell they still don't have a 35mm option, but that page is of no help when it comes to the diameter, which is shocking. Why would you have things that mount on handlebars and not have the diameter they fit?

Sorry about our oversight! We have corrected our product pages so that they clearly indicate 31.8mm round handlebars.

We will check to see if anyone is working on a 35mm solution.
