Garmin Vector 2 / Newton 5+ Powerstroke calibration

Hi,

My wife bought me a set of Garmin Vector 2 pedals for my birthday and I would like to use them with my Newton 5+ Powerstroke.

Are these the current instructions for calibrating the devices to work together?

http://www.ibikesports.com/wp-content/u ... 13_red.pdf

I suspect perhaps not as page 13 cites tilt calibration, and I thought tilt calibration is obsolete in firmware 5.0+?
The calibration procedure for the Newton/WIRELESS DFPM combination is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM TYPICAL NEWTON CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:
a. Tilt calibration and Cal Wind are the same
b. A single calibration ride, 4 miles long, IS REQUIRED
c. The 4-mile ride is analyzed in Isaac software (Tools/Check Calibration…)
d. Baseline (normal) aerodynamic and frictional drag coefficients are determined by the Newton/DFPM data
Thanks,
Don

Bump. Is the Garmin Vector 2 supported at all?

I know my Vector is outputting power as I can see power displayed on my 910XT watch. But when I scan for sensors on the Newton, it doesn't seem to find the DFPM.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Don

We will need to check this. ANT+ keeps changing their standards...

It looks like there is a new ANT+ protocol for the Garmin Vector 2. We haven't implemented this protocol in our FW.
