I am doing a century and want to know when to swap my battery. I recently bought another battery.

You can really swap out the battery as you wish. Each supplemental battery will give you about 40-60minutes of extra charge, depending on the draw of your IOS Device. I recommend changing them as they run out(indicated by the charging symbol of the IOS Device).
