New look for app

We are working on a new graphical user interface (GUI).

You'll see part of it in the app 1.0.3 about to be released.

Here are some screen shots of some of the main screens. These are even easier to read in daylight...

The colors around the power and HR numbers indicate % FTP zone and % max HR zone, respectively.

I like the changes you made! My only suggestion is to make the white background, more white. With the color of white background in the app being an off-white, then place it in the iDash with the screen giving it another layer of shade, then the use of sunglasses (most cyclists), then the shade of trees/clouds when riding can make it difficult to see the contrast... at least for me. The whiter the white and blacker the black, would work best. By the way, I have perfect close-up vision.

my 2 cents.

I agree with the comment on designing to maximizing contrast. Does the black background use less power?

I was hoping to see more large font boxes available. The screen shot only shows two, the same as the current app.

Font sizes are larger when fewer numbers of items are displayed.

The black/white contrast is extremely good--at least here in south FL.

There is no difference in power consumption between the two units.

John,

I just downloaded the new app and the screens look the same. Black text on a white background and a max of two large font boxes with 4 or higher text fields.

Is there something else I need to change?

The new GUI will come in the 1.0.4 revision.

The first part of the new interface is in the Options section.
