Not all USB cables are alike!
There are many different kinds of micro USB cables. All of these cables will plug into your AeroPod/PowerPod/Newton device and to your computer, and all of them will likely charge your device, but some micro-USB cables will not allow ride file downloads.
When you connect your device to Isaac, if you don't see the green box around the USB icon, then try changing your USB cable.

To add to that - there are USB charge only cables available - the data pins are disabled. This is because some unscrupulous vendors have designed chargers that also can steal data. SO many use the charge only cables - especially when at airports or elsewhere when the user does not have their own complete charging setup (cables and transformer.)
Those nice convenient wall receptacles in airports are not data safe - computers, laptops, notepads and even cell phones can be hijacked because of these malicious charger setups that seemingly look so innocent.
