Isaac Seems to Open, But Is Unresponsive Mac Sierra V 10.12

I'm running Isaac 4.1.0 on a MacBook Pro Retina running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5.
Sometimes Isaac works flawlessly, but lately it has been opening in an unresponsive form - it appears on the screen but none of the buttons on the screen respond, and the list of operating programs on my Mac don't include Isaac. I restart my computer and Isaac usually works afterwards.
I'm not having problems with any other software.
