"Drafting" during trainer rides

When in trainer mode, shouldn't the software disable the drafting function? My ride files are consistently showing that I'm drafting. This is even affecting the effort speed in the software. Is this a glitch or is there an edit I can do to correct this? I'm definitely in trainer mode, so that isn't the problem. Thanks!

I had exactly the same thing on my last trainer ride but not on any of the previous trainer rides, I meant to experiment to see if it was related to the positioning of my fan unit but I have not ridden a trainer ride since

Also, I did not use a fan with this ride. Again, I would assume it wouldn't matter anyway if the software corrects for "drafting."
