iBike 4 is not compatible with Windows 7 Starter Edition.
The LabVIEW development system we use for creating iBike 4 software won't work with the very basic "Starter" editions of Microsoft operating systems.
We have contacted LabVIEW about this problem and they have confirmed this limitation. At this point, LabVIEW states that they do not plan to remove the limitation.
iBike 4 will work just fine with the "Home" and higher versions of Microsoft XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Thanks John. I upgraded to the Home edition. 4.0.1 loads and works fine now.
Re: iBike 4 and Windows 7 Starter Edition
Here's a feature request. It would be great if you could dump a ride file to an iPhone or similar smart device to free up iBike memory space. Not looking for analysis or any other features, just store the raw data file and email it to a base computer.
I am leaving in March for a two month ride across the country, and I'll be lugging three pounds of netbook among all my other gear on the bike mainly so I can use the iBike and get ride files.
