Training Log Software

Post by whftherb »

Can I ask for some suggestions on what people here use for tracking their cycling training? IB4 gives us tons of data on our rides but I can't seem to find a good spreadsheet or database prog to provide a nice quick summary, or an overview of progress daily, weekly, monthly, etc. I see a bunch of spreadsheets done up but they're not very sophisticated. I could do one on my own but why re-invent the wheel. If you have one that's your favorite, why not share it?

Have you looked at Golden Cheetah?

http://goldencheetah.org/

It will import iBike CSV files.

Version 1.3 is the current release. Version 1.4 will probably be out something this fall or early winter and adds some tasty new features:

Wow! Never even heard of that one.
That's why I came here to find out what other people know.
Never showed up on my Google searches.

But thanks a lot and I'll give it a good once over.

I use SportTracks, with the iBike plugin developed by an iBike user. He also wrote the TrainingLoad plugin that tracks your TSB, TSS, CTL, etc.

I'm also a fan of SportTracks. It's definitely worth checking out, it's extremely flexible. Download Page
