Oh No! I have a cracked case

Right where the unit mounts onto the USB cradle a piece of the surround has broken off.
Started as a crack then yesterday it broke off completely. The unit still works and is completely functional but I am concerned about rain when its on the bike mount.
I thought it was a little tight right from the start.
Putting it on the bike was not a problem but the USB, definitely tight.
Is it possible to replace the case? Or the base of the case?
I have it glued but I do not believe there is enough material to make it an effective fix.

My case cracked a few weeks ago...it's covered by a 1 year warranty. Email tech support or John Hamann directly and tell him your problem. I got mine back in less than 2 weeks.
Good luck...

John,
Looks like mine will be coming down soon, too.

Second thoughts, John.
Racing season is in full swing, so I want to keep mine as long as possible.
Can you advise me as to the latest I can return mine and still be within warranty?

Same here...I just noticed that my case is cracked. My mount died too, and this led me to inspect everything and I noticed the cracked case...perhaps the cracked case allowed water to get in and kill the mount.
What should I do...I have already emailed about the mount.

If your product has a crack then you should return it to us immediately for repairs. We repair and return products the same day they are received.
So, if you race on Sunday and mail your product to us on Monday (Priority Mail) then we will receive it on Wednesday and you'll have it back on Friday (assuming the mail works!).
My concern is that if water enters the unit after the crack is found, then water leakage inside would not be covered under warranty.

I have a chipped case - it is possible to swap casing - or do you need to replace the entire unit? There is no fear of water entering the unit as of yet - so I would prefer to keep it until the end of the season and then get it replaced afterwards - advisable or no?
I believe it chipped because the unit was too snug on the mount when I tried to remove it to set my profile and it hit the aerobars - putting a small chip in the side of it. Or at least that is when I noticed it - not sure if it was there beforehand or not...as I just got the unit in the mail... and didn't inspect it too closely before trying it out.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Cheers!
