Hello... I need help!

The speed and distance on this file are way off I rode about 53 miles not around 81 and had a max speed of 38 not 79... (so therefore the TSS and the rest of the data is wonky as well...)

The correct data is from a iphone app I was also carrying. I would really like to be able to import a reasonably correct ride into Golden Cheetah.

Is it possible to correct this file?
What happened? (I had just put in fresh batteries)
I did put on a different wheel so the speed magnet may have been in a different place

The speed data in your ride file is odd throughout, and becomes more and more spiky as the ride progresses. This suggests that the battery in your speed sensor is failing, or your magnet position is marginal.

Press Ctrl+E to export to csv format and then either edit the file in MS Excel or import into GC and edit it there.

Good luck - it's a long tedious process but if your speed or cadence is off due to failing sensors or magnet position, it's likely to be very hard and time consuming to "salvage" the values though not impossible.

I know how to get the file into GC and how to do the editing process... I was just hoping there was some was to apply some "magical" global correction within the ibike software that would fix the file so I would not have to suffer through an interminable manual correction
