AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hi -

I've looked all over and can't find an explanation for "Pin Failure" and "Pin Off" which appears on the display during the beginning of a ride (first 5 minutes).

If you do not have a separate power meter (power tap, quarc, srm) don't worry about it--somewhere along the line when you started up your ibike it picked up a signal from one, or in your profile there's a code for a direct force power meter. When the unit does not pick up this signal on start up, it sends the fail signal, when it still doesn't find it, it sends the off signal and stops looking.

Of course, if you DO have a separate power meter, this indicates a problem . . .
