I've got a PT wheel coming in to use now and then with the iBIke
looks like rain on the days when I could get out to do a cal ride
will it be fine on the trainer until I can get the cal ride in -- just pair it and do the grunt work?

Re: DFPM on Trainer sans Cal Ride
The cal ride is only needed to make the iBike profile good. You can just pair up the PT and your good to go.doofus wrote:I've got a PT wheel coming in to use now and then with the iBIke

Re: DFPM on Trainer sans Cal Ride
I've found the iBike Trainer profile to be very good. To know for sure, you can also use the PT tap wheel to confirm the trainer model.
Device > Edit Trainer Settings
Click the Coefficients tab
Click the "?" for instructions on how to do a "calibration ride" for your trainer
Do the ride
Download both the iBike and PT files
Go back to the Coefficients tab
Click "Fit to DFPM Ride File...
Send the trainer profile back to the iBike.
Now you can use your trainer without the PT and knowing the profile is spot on.
The resultant trainer file can be saved and even uploaded back to Velocomp.
