The sensors are ANT+ so they should be compatible with Newton.

Never had an issue with ANT+ from other brands. I have right now a Garmin ANT+ Heart Rate Strap

yes I have them and they work fine. One thing to remember is that the cadence does not trigger like a conventional one on the chainstay and that can cause minor issues with power stroke. To get power stroke to work 100% you need to have the left crank arm in line with the chain stay when you put your bike away (or when you leave it for more than 2 minutes) because the trigger point will be where ever the sensor is when it wakes up. Otherwise works just great!

I have the speed sensor and confirm that it works fine. I believe the data may be slightly less accurate than a well set up magnet based sensor, but it has no magnet to get knocked so works better in most circumstances & in particular if you are leaving the bike in transition.

For cadence I use the Wahoo version. It transmits in blue tooth, so you can use it at the gym, and its timing signal is when the words are upright, rather than how you leave the crank (Wahoo sent me a photo), which makes Powerstroke easier. Garmin sell their sensors separately as well as in a bundle.
