I have just got a new PP, and have been pouring over the documentation and posts on this forum to see if I had any problems.
Then I found this - and suddenly I know what is going on!
Especially:
Button is press-held for 4 seconds, and the light shows:
...
3 flashes of red light during pairing -- PP has "found" an ANT+ cadence sensor
(I thought this meant that it couldn't pair with my cadence sensor - so tried and tried and tried again!)
and:
During a bike ride
No light -- everything is normal
(I was worried that the green light went out after starting!)
