Regarding DFPM calibration (Method 4), the PDF states

"VERY IMPORTANT: REMEMBER THAT THE CALIBRATION RIDE MUST BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO PERFORMING METHODS 2, 3, AND 4. THE CALIBRATION RIDE MUST BE PERFORMED BEFORE OR AFTER SETTING UP METHOD 1."

Does this mean you would do a 2 Mile Calibration ride to determine Wind Scaling and Tilt, and then do another longer 4 Mile Ride which would be used by the iBike Software to calculate the DFPM matched Profile?

Thanks

Will it be possible to by-pass these steps by pre-loading an established profile?

Or, is the new process improved enough to make it worth following through?

I think I like the tweakability to crr, by the way . . .

We've clarified the wording in the instructions and will update them on the site.

If you're using a DFPM, you do ONE cal ride, 4 miles long, with your DFPM and iAero. The Cal Ride will figure out everything...

If you're upgrading from an earlier version of iBike firmware, once you load 400 you'll need to run through the Fast Start sequence. To preserve your old drag coefficients, simply skip over the Est CDA step (click the up arrow to skip to the next step) or if you enter the EST CDA step, select NO for every ride position option.
