Velocomp Aero is replacing Isaac

With the release of Velocomp Aero (VA) for Mac/PC. version 1.0, we are strongly recommending all Velocomp power meter owners (AeroPod, PowerPod, Newton) to download and install VA software.
You will be able to download and review your ride files, and you will be able to upload firmware changes from VA.
Isaac will no longer be supported, and certain elements of it (for example, ride file download in Macs with macOS 15.x; firmware uploads) will no longer function.
Isaac postings are available in the "Legacy" forum

Hi John -
The one component I do not see yet (in VA 1.0) is the analyze menu in Isaac still remains to be completed.
Did I miss that? I am assuming that these features will be in the next release - otherwise keeping Isaac around a little longer would be advisable.

Isaac will continue to be available; what's different is that we won't be updating it if OS changes are required.
We will continue to add features to VA. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It is implied above that VA should be able to access my Newton, however VA does not see the Newton. This a problem with the SI Labs which install of updated SiLabs drivers resolved.

I download Newton files almost daily, using VA. No problems...

Unfortunately, the SI driver install fails to complete every time I try on 2025 M4 MacBook Air. Not sure what to do. All help appreciated.

Solved. The instruction to allow system extension to load is a bit unclear. There is an option to say OK or to go to mac system settings. Should clatify that the user MUST go to the allow extension to load at login setting BEFORE hitting OK.
Once i did that — SUCCESS.
New software looks good!

Good to know you found a solution. The install instructions are something Silicon Labs does, not us.
