This is quite mysterious!
Please send your .ibr file as downloaded, not the .ibr ride file that is merged with the Garmin file. I'd like to see the data that is coming out of your PowerPod.

Re: PowerPod: Speed Sensor Loosing Contact
Sorry you hare having problems. I have personally used a Giant bike with the RideSense sensor, without problems. That said, we know it has a somewhat weak transmitter. Depending on where your PowerPod is located and where you sit on the bike, your body can absorb a lot of the signal the sensor emits...

Re: Elevation going bananas
You have a fair number of sensor dropouts on your ride file. This is likely the source of your elevation problems... Please do the following: 1) press-hold your button for about 10 seconds, until the light stops flashing momentarily, and then starts to flash again. This resets your PowerPod 2) I'm g...

Re: Newbie stupid question no doubt!
There is almost nowhere in your ride where you are "on the flats".
Your ride file looks fine to me. If there is a place where you think there is an issue, let me know where it is so I can look more carefully.

Re: Newbie stupid question no doubt!
PowerPod measures the power you are applying to move your bike forward against the opposing forces of wind, hills, friction and acceleration. There is a bit of power loss between the pedals and the rear wheel (about 2%) but PowerPod accounts for that. When you are going downhill gravity is your powe...

Actually, at this point of your ride your tailwind is quite significant.
By any chance is this on a rougher road? If so, new FW just released will provide better results.

Re: PP losing connection (?) with various sensors during rid
This file looks PERFECT.
You lost your date and time when you did the hard reset, but now that you've downloaded a ride file the date/time has been reset in your PP.
You can correct the date and time in this ride file with the Isaac command

Re: Laps???
Yes, there is a way to add laps in Isaac: 1) Download your ride file 2) Place the vertical yellow cursor in the graph, where you want the lap marker to be added Screen Shot 2016-09-20 at 6.22.17 AM.png 3) Right click on the vertical line, revealing a new menu that allows you to Mark Lap at Cursor Sc...

You can see speed on Garmin even if speed sensor is not working; GPS speed will be shown.
Please check by rotating wheel as advised.

Re: Correct settings for cyclocross race
You've got your rolling resistance set for a road bike (0.0042)...not a cx bike (0.007). So, your watts are somewhat low (about 10W low). I've adjusted the profile for the higher resistance of a cx bike. Modified profile is attached. You have set your FTP to 302W. On the hill repeats you are doing a...

Re: Solid Yellow Light will not Calibrate on second bike
It's likely that your speed sensor is not sending a signal.
PowerPod will show solid green if the cadence sensor is working. With you bike at rest, spin the wheel of your bike to confirm that the speed sensor is operational.

Re: PP losing connection (?) with various sensors during rid
You have dropouts in all three of your sensors (speed, cadence and HR). This is a pretty strange situation. Please do the following: 1) Press-hold your PP button for about 10 seconds, until its light goes out momentarily and then turns back on. This will hard-reset the unit 2) Make sure your HR stra...

Re: Replaced battery in GarminSpeedSensor, now PP won't conn
Confirm that your sensor is working by spinning the pedals and visibly observing that speed and cadence are shown on your Garmin. When you've confirmed that it is working, press-hold the PP button for 4 seconds, until it starts flashing. It should change to solid green when paired. If this does not ...

It does appear that your 820 was not working properly. I think I've read in some other places that Garmins some times have reception problems.
Your PP is working just fine, as the ride file proves.

1. Make sure your speed sensor is sending its signal continuously. Magnet/sensor position is critical. Also, the solid green light will automatically turn off after a few seconds, to conserve power. But PP will continue to work. Finally, make sure your cadence sensor/magnet are properly position. Wh...

Re: Help and advice required please!
Several odd things are going on in your ride files: 1) On your 9/10 ride the first 21 miles appear to be in a strong tail wind (or you're drafting). Can't tell which. Then, at mile 21 both your wind readings AND your mount position changed. Did you move the PP to a different position on your bike? D...
