Re: Adjusting Parameters - Check Calibration

Ahh...you are poking deep into the innards of our system :-) The 6 variables go all the way back to our original iBike product from 2005. I don't want to describe too explicitly how the variables relate; suffice it to say that there are two variables (CdA and Crr) that can be user-adjusted after the...

Re: Cadence Sensor Effect?

John - Yes - both flavors of these are accelerometer based sensors. Another question - If I choose to have both the Garmin and Wahoo sensors around, but this is the only difference that will be between two profiles will this work the same way that having two bikes with separate speed sensors and PP...

Re: Cadence Sensor Effect?

PowerStroke works in part by precisely measuring the time between the crank passing-by the same point on the bike. When we created PS it was simple: whenever the cadence magnet passed by the sensor a signal was sent. I don't know how either the Garmin or Wahoo cadence sensors work, but I suspect bot...

Thank you John. I'll recheck the battery in the cadence sensor. I don't recall that even being connected to the PP. I do have a second cadence sensor . That's correct, my street is flat . Re: weird Power numbers

4/13: your PP was knocked out of position at the end of the ride. Notice that, on the flats at the end of your ride, your slope was 8% :-). That is what caused high watts. Make sure your PP is solidly attached and cannot rotate. Watts will be zero when cadence is zero. Make sure your cadence sensor ...

Re: new Trek Speed Concept Blendr Duo Base and Computer Mount and Device Mount Location

You can try using this setup, but because the mount is attached to the aero bars, it is very likely that the aero bars flex, and will cause problems for AeroPod. The best place to attach AP is underneath the stem. We have a mounting solution for this configuration; email technicalsupport@velocomp.co...

Re: new Trek Speed Concept Blendr Duo Base and Computer Mount and Device Mount Location

I can't tell from the photos how the mount is attached to the handlebars. If the mount is stiffly attached the handlebars this is fine; if the mount is attached to the aero bars this won't work correctly, because the aero bars flex. Please show photos showing how mount is attached to bike handlebars.

Re: Intel Mac Users: how to install Isaac 5.1 macOS Catalina, Monterey, Big Sur, and earlier

If you can read your serial number, it is likely that the problem is an error in the file structure of your ride memory, making it impossible to download your ride. The solution is to use the command "Device/Erase All Ride Data". You'll lose your ride data, but hopefully this will fix thin...

Re: Wireless ID in profiles

Everything is OK. Some years ago Garmin went to a 6 digit identifier for a wireless ID. You PP correctly reads that ID. However, Isaac is programmed to read/write 5 digit identifiers. So, it does not correctly report on-screen what is stored in PP, and it can't write 6 digit identifiers, either. How...
