Recovering profiles

I've had to recently do a clean install of my desktop. I've reinstalled Isaac and I'd like to recover the profiles I had from my data backup. Can you tell me how profiles are stored and which files I should recover please?

Re: Windows 10 compatibility

I've installed Isaac on a Windows 10 preview on my laptop, and it seems to work fine. I can download rides and have set time and date, so I assume comms is good. I'll post any problems I come across.

Re: New Newton firmware 602 coming

Features look great, especially the smoothing. I use a Garmin and the best it does is 30s smooth. The shorter periods look ideal. Very handy for getting in that mountain climbing groove.

Export csv bug in IsaacWin (iBIkewin)

It seems the bug in iBikeWin that means if you export a ride as a csv when displayed as metric it does not export slope data has made it into IsaacWin as well. (At least not so the WKO+ can read it.) The workaround is to display as "english" (imperial) and export. Us Europeans (English inc...

Re: Slope data in csv export

I have found the problem. When I view and export as metric, no slope data gets imported to WKO (build 48). When I view and export as English, all is well. I had a look at the csv in an editor and compared to my previous ride files and noticed pre-update they had english in the csv header and metric ...

Slope data in csv export

I've upgraded to latest software and use the export csv feature to get my ride into WKO+ 3.0. I notice that the slope data is no longer showing as it was when the software was just using csv and not the new ibr format. Any fix or suggestion as to what is happening here? Could we have an option just ...

Re: Firmware 4.25-under reporting watts-tilt issue

When I had a similar issue as we transitioned to warmer weather here, while I was riding at high speed (35-45 kph) I was seeing low watts on the flat and a big wind offset in the software (-10.6) with little to no wind. I was being credited with a big tailwind when there was none My wind scaling was...

Could I confirm that this trainer (Cycleops Fluid 2 (2011)) would match one of the profiles?

Yes. I agree. Just wasn't explicit enough in NP formula.

Re: Getting stats from ride files?

NP and TSS/IF can be calculated. I think NP= 4th root of the sum of Watts^4 IF=NP/FTP TSS=[(s x W x IF)/(FTP x 3600)] x 100 Where s is in seconds. W is NP in Watts. From first equation this can be simplified to TSS = [(s x IF^2)/3600] x 100 Or TSS = [(s x NP^2)/(FTP^2 x 3600)] x 100 I quite like the...

Re: Shopping for Power

Press menu then select settings/data fields. Select the screen you want to display power on and follow prompts for number of fields on that screen. Choose a field, click on it's header and scroll down to the fields that start with Power. The 3s and 30s averages are in there. The manual doesn't look ...

Can Crr really be this high?

Having upgraded to an iPro from iSport I decided to redo my cal ride and add some coast downs in. The motivation for accuracy is so I can match as closely as possible my ride partner with his iAero which he has cal'd properly. I followed the instructions to do a full measure of CdA and Crr. Fast sta...

Re: Waterproofing the iBike

While there may well be issues with the wired version in some cases, a sweeping statement that the iBike does not work in the rain is not needed as the GT version with Garmin sensors does work extremely well in the wet. I hope the issues you obviously have do get resolved. I imagine the weakness is ...

Re: A lot of questions and picture request on Ibike power meter

Thanks, how did the Ibike and Garmin work together? where did you put both devices? and was it possible to read out data on Garmin connect? I'm thinking about either putting the Garmin in a saddle bag or in my back pocket since I don't like the idea of an over crowded handbar. Any experience with t...

Re: A lot of questions and picture request on Ibike power meter

The upgrade from the iSport to the iPro is a firmware unlock. The units are physically the same. I've just taken the route you have, using an Edge 705. More than happy with the iSport, I've now upgraded. You are sent the USB adapter and software. You use the adapter to read the iSport serial number....

Re: cannot download rides!

When in heavy rain on one occasion I had wild watts at the start. I'd left the iBike stood in the rain while I put on wet weather gear and I think some moisture got in the wind port. I removed the iSport, gave it a little shake, port down, and a couple of puffs in the tube and after that it was fine...

Re: Shopping for Power

1) in the last week I've done several rides in heavy rain. The last was over two hours of complete soak. The unit remained water tight and working. Unless you are unlucky with a manufacturing fault, I'd say the iBike handles wet conditions very well 2) I too use a 705 and tend to use that in tandem ...

New cal/coasts after additional fast settups?

Having read a fair bit about not needing to redo the cal ride or coast downs after hard resets and battery changes I am guessing this is much the same. I've been having issues with the head unit and ended up going through the fast start after the initial install a few times (see post in Gen III foru...

Battery compartment problem and solution?

I received an iSport GT FW 4.21 3rd August. On the first day I did the installation and calibration ride/coast downs but only after I changed the battery in the wireless mount and the head unit (even though the included CR2032 was notionally brand new). The issue I was having was that it was resetti...
