Re: At long last, the iBike Newton!

Forgive me if I missed this somewhere, but will the iBike Newton be just like the iAero in terms of its ability to serve as a head unit for a DFPM, thus allowing comparison of ride profiles between the iBike and DFPM, DFPM-calibration of the iBike, etc.?

Thanks!

iBike iAero paired with Powertap

Hi all - Based on some recs from this forum and others, I am very close to getting the iAero head unit to pair with my Powertap Pro+ wheelset. Will just have to sell my Garmin Edge 5...

Re: Footon Servetto

I noted that too...I haven't seen the iBike on any FS stem, only what looks like a wristwatch HRM. To be fair, in some stages I have seen other racers who I know use power for training not ride with a Powermeter (e.g., some Garmin bikes have the PT Cervo head, but clearly no PT rear hub).

Looking for Reassurance-LONG POST

Hi all - Considering going with the iBike iAero. Currently use a Powertap Pro+ wheelset for both training and racing and throughout the year have had headaches with flats in multiple races (thus losing power measurement) and a busted rim which is still taking up to 5-6 weeks to replace (rim out of s...
