Thank you. I sent the profile without error. I'll try it out on the bike as soon as I can (down sick right now). I'll report back if I still get errors. No news will be good news.

Re: Isaac can't send corrected profile to Gen 3
I've been getting the same error, but haven't worried about it given it hasn't been a problem using it in trainer mode all winter. Now that Spring is here, I would like to use my iBike outside. Is there any resolution to this issue?

Re: Support ending for Gen III
Thanks John. What is you described is reasonable. The main thing is to continue to be able to use the unit as is, and Isaac is a big part of that. If you can archive off the manuals, and the version of Isaac that will support Gen III (if at some point it no longer will) so we users of the obsolete G...

Support ending for Gen III
Hello, I am still using my Gen III and love it. I see support is ending in June. Can you quantify what that means? Specifically, will I continue to be able to use Isaac moving forward as it is upgraded, or should I stop upgrading the software? I am considering an upgrade to Newton, but my Gen III ha...

Re: Trainer mode turning off automatically
Great info! Thanks. It is an easy matter to re-position the fan, and it makes sense to have the FW switch if it thinks it is out on the road.
I appreciate the quick response,
Gritty

Trainer mode turning off automatically
I new to using the trainer mode on my ibike, so I may just not have a clue what I am doing. I happened to be looking at the unit mid-interval tracking my effort when "trainer off" appeared on the display and watts dropped by about half or more. I stopped, went to the user setting and made ...

Re: Questions about Coast Downs
YES! I just got a new mount and was dreading re-calibrating my iBike since I had a profile that has worked well for me. The coast downs always gave me headaches. I screwed up more profiles than I want to admit  . It is good to read coast downs aren't really necessary any longer. That is what I...

Help me with my Tilt OCD, please!
I love my ibike. It makes riding a lot more fun and interesting. However, tilt has me puzzled. I do a tilt adjustment at the beginning of every ride because it is always off. That is, what I know to be about a .5% grade shows as 3% or so, and when I check the grade it will show 3% in one direction, ...

Re: Calibration doesn't seem right
I performed all of your steps: 1) The mount is rock solid. 2) I performed a good wind and tilt cal, then did a cal ride (4 miles). My Fric and Aero number are unchanged from what I posted earlier. They are exactly the same, which seems a little odd. 3) I did the simple test using the coast down meth...

Re: Calibration doesn't seem right
Thanks John,
I'll perform all your suggestions and report back... it will be a few days. As you predicted, I do use a handlebar mount with the iBike almost horizontal (I find it easier to read that way).

Calibration doesn't seem right
I have an iSport with 4.21 firmware. I have performed all of the calibration tests several time, but I have yet to feel like the data being reported is correct. It could be that I just don't know what I am looking at, but it just doesn't seem consistent. I can be riding with what I think is very lit...

Re: Erase in Firmware 4.20?
I have an iSport. I was looking to erase my log this morning too... and to change the recording interval. Looking at the detailed instructions for Firmware 4.20+, the function should be in the Day-to-Day set up screens. However, it isn't in mine. My firmware release is 4.21. My menu sequence is: Set...
