Re: Upgraded to 504 now will not find comport

I guess the NI drivers got corrupted on that computer. Travis sent me a file which reinstalled the NI software and all is good now.

Thanks

Upgraded to 504 now will not find comport

I am not sure how long the 504 upgrade has been out but I just installed it. Now I get <1> as the comport. I tried about 5 times to downgrade back to 501, No luck. Still cannot find the comport. It seems that no matter which version of the iBike software I try, 501 or 504. It always installs the lat...

Yeah, I think those bikes come free with the new 2010 IAero. You buy a new IAero and they get a free bike.
If enough people buy an IAero both riders get a bike and not have to share.

I do not disagree with you at all racerfern for your usage. I use all that plus my waking heart rate and BP and weight and whatever else I can find. But who is training? Not me. All I want to see is that my heart is getting stronger which can be seen without the use of power at all. I just think is ...

Re: Another Garmin Question

I have an IPro G and an ISport GT. Both are wireless and I have a Garmin 705. I have an IBike HR strap and a Garmin HR strap. All three of the units will find both straps but the problem comes when switching Hr straps. The Garmin 705 has 1 user profile and three bike profiles, but if I change the HR...

I think if you are willing to accept a "trend" and not accuracy, there is nothing wrong with this request - if it can be added in a future release. I am just concerned that adding this will then become a point of irritation to those expecting great accuracy - heck, I don't even believe th...

Re: Another Trainer Question

I am happy with 1 profile. I really hate when I forget to change the profile from #1 to #2 and then ride with the wrong profile for the next 4 hours. So let’s get rid of the extra profiles and dream up some really cool features. I bought an Ibike for each bike so the extra profiles are useless for me.

On my ISport when you get to hours log click the down button and it will go into the FTP config. But on my IPro the FTP Config is right there but the CDA is missing and can't be found. But I have never had a need to find the CDA in the IPro because it can be adjusted ihe software.

Re: Battery Life in Head Unit

I would like to see an interstitial design - one more ring that can be twisted onto the wireless mount and then the head unit twisted onto that. This ring would have the external wires and a battery pack with a velcro mount that you could strap to the step or other location. This could really answe...

Produce a model in a special red case. Call it a "Professional Racing Model" or "Lab Model" (sorry Racermate!), and charge $2000 for it. Nothing else needs to be different. The data will be universally believed. I market and do retail sales, you may or may not know how close to ...

This book is a manual for their website and should be given away free to their paid users. I found very little use for it.

If you start off your century and you are at .94 intensity factor after the first hour, you are probably going to end up cracking at some point because you can't maintain that pace. For a good century, checking your IF and making sure it's around .83-.85 I read about "IF" in the manual an...

Something that no one is thinking about is mixing sizes of batteries and brands. The button batteries are not re-chargeable. The weaker battery can leak or even blow up from being over charged from the more powerful battery. How I did mine: Kids, don't try this at home you could damage your IBike he...

Just a guess, but you are giving the IBike a cold start where the SRM has already been warmed up so to speak being it is already mounted on the bike and been there all night where your IBike was in the house. I found it is better to take your IBike outside and mount it on your bike and let it set fo...

You do understand that it all depends on whose standards you are trying to live by? Lock in some settings and...
