Re: Review calibration and potential problem?

I looked at your cal ride and it does look like you completed an o&B calibration. Do the following: 1) press-hold PP light for about 10 seconds, until its light goes out and turns back on. this does a hard reset; release the button. 2) Attach PP to Isaac, go through the setup wizard, and select best...

Re: firmware update to 6.32

We follow the standard ANT+ protocol. I'm guessing Wahoo does, too; if so, you should be able to access the battery info in ELEMNT. Make sure your using the Wahoo in ANT+ mode.

Yes. If you don't see the GPS data use the command shown to merge your Tracker information into your ride file. Save the ride file so that the GPS data will be in your ride file.

Re: All my rides have a tailwind

Well, you're asking me on Father's Day which kid is my favorite... :-) But I'm a good father; I use both PowerPod and Newton on my bike, every day! PowerPod has some firmware advancements that have not been incorporated into Newton, but if you're comfortable with the Newton screen, then right now I ...

Re: All my rides have a tailwind

I can't really tell the cause of your problem.

All three ride files have the same profile numbers, so it look's like you have not actually executed an out and back cal ride.

Re: Calibration - Numbers Off???

Unfortunately this is a somewhat complicated subject. The link you provide is about the BLE version of PowerPod, and the Wahoo sensor reference in that document refers specifically to Wahoo's BLE implementation of speed. We have not seen any issue with Wahoo BLE speed signals. The Wahoo sensor is bo...

Re: Please review files and assist me on getting things right

I really don't have anything extra to add to this. GPS elevation is inherently inaccurate. Strava uses maps and, maybe, GPS information. More guessing. We use baro sensor data. The thing to do is to pick your preferred way of getting the data, then stick with it. Consistency is sometimes more import...

Re: Please review files and assist me on getting things right

I don't trust Stava elevation data at all. Strava uses maps to guess at elevation climbed information; we use actual on-the-bike measurement. As an example of the kind of errors Strava produces: I live in south Florida, where it is EXTREMELY flat. On June 2 I did a 9 mile ride ride, where my PP show...

Make sure you're looking at the advanced stats view in Isaac.

Isaac shows you gained a total of 662m on your ride.

Re: Please review files and assist me on getting things right

The issues here are with your Bolt, not with PP. PP transmits power data to Bolt. Your Bolt receives power data from PP, and speed and cadence data from your other sensors. So, if the issues are with speed, the problem is how your Bolt is processing speed sensor data. This is not a PowerPod problem....

Re: Excessive power the first minutes

During the first 8 minutes of your ride PP is recalibrating itself. There are three potential causes why your watts are off at the beginning of your ride: 1) PP is not solidly attached, and is rotating during your rides; 2) you are removing PP between rides, and not reattaching it exactly at the sam...

It looks like the unlock file has somehow been corrupted.

I am reattaching your key to this post in a .zip format. Unzip the file, then try loading it into your device.

Does that mean I need to do a new calibration ride? I thought I could just change the tyre related data as everything else is the same. I would leave things where they are.

You rode in a lot of wind (head/side/tail) on the file you posted. One of the requirements for calibration is that winds be reasonably calm.

Re: Power Pod Different Wheel/Tyre Combo

Sorry for the delay in responding.

You can set up a profile for each bike, using the same speed sensor. Just remember that you'll need to switch profiles manually in Isaac, as you suggest.

You can make adjustments to tire pressure in the Device/Device Setup wizard

Re: Downhill Power

I think you're ok, though your big climb at the end of your ride has a few speed sensor dropouts. This may be because you dropped below our zero-speed threshold of 3 mph.
