Do a completely new scan, making sure that your DFPM is off.

That should fix things.

Re: Installing Isaac on a new computer

I am not at all familiar with Windows. On Macs there is a "migration assistant" that allows you to transfer the contents of your old computer to your new computer. I am sure there is something comparable in Windows. This is what will get your Isaac program and files over to your new computer.

The Kickstarter units had somewhat lower feature functionality than current ANT+ units, but measurement performance is the same.

This is a long ride and it's tough to know what wind conditions were throughout.

I suggest you do a new cal ride. You can post the results here so we can check things.

Re: PP battery died- question

I'm glad your PP has your ride file! That it does have it means that it was working and that its battery was OK. So, the issue is your Garmin: why did it not "read" the PP signal? The only thing I can figure out is that your Garmin profile was not paired to PP. I would check to be certain PP is prop...

Isaac 5.0 for Windows is coming

While it is a lot of fun, and very helpful, to see CdA numbers while on-the-road, an important part of AeroPod usefulness comes from post-ride analysis. We have updated Isaac software to improve its analysis and presentation of AeroPod CdA information. The new release is Isaac 5.0. Isaac 5.0 for Win...

Re: PP on Sensors off

When PP has been asleep and you click the button, that turns it "on". The first thing PP does is start to flash green--indicating that it is looking for the speed sensor. If your speed sensor is "off" then PP won't find it. PP light will continue to flash green and eventually go out. However, even a...

Re: My opinion about new Firmware 6.41

2. I had the impression that O&B could be trigger (besides pairing) by changing profiles. -=terry=- Whenever PP automatically changes profiles from bike to bike, or when you manually switch profiles in Isaac, this does NOT force a new cal ride. Only when you do a sensor scan, is a calibration forced.

Re: Powerpod calibration check request

Isaac re-processes the data stored in the ride file. Isaac algorithms are similar but not identical to on-board PP algorithms. This accounts for the difference. The analyze commands in Isaac are helpful when ride files are clearly wrong. You are getting good results so I would just leave things alone.

Re: My opinion about new Firmware 6.41

1. We can, on an individual basis, send older firmware 2. The new FW does NOT force a cal ride, except when a sensor pairing is performed . Why would you do a new sensor pairing if your PP is already calibrated? And if you don't do a sensor pairing, the only other way to force a cal ride is in Isaac...

Re: Feature Request - MTB Mode

1) Correct. Power is zero when cadence is zero.

2) The cadence sensor delay should not be significant. You might want to check your Garmin averaging; make it zero

3) Another thing to try is to un-pair your cadence sensor from PP. You will get PP power at all times.

Re: Pitot tube testing

Unfortunately your tests won't work. What's needed is "natural" wind to compare to bike speed.

The best thing to do is a short out and back ride. Post the results here.

Re: Powerpod calibration check request

You're a strong rider!

All your rides look fine; the thing I look at is wind speed. If it's comparable to bike speed (it is in all your ride files) then you are OK.

Watts are consistent, too, from ride to ride.

The profile you have needs to be updated with a new cal ride. APS should be on your Newton, but if your profiles are messed up it won't make much difference.

Re: Power but no ride file

There's one of two things going on: 1) your ride memory is full...can't record files when it is full 2) your ride file structure has become corrupted You can try a hard reset of the unit, followed by downloading the road race ride. Hopefully that will work, but if not you will need to erase your rid...
