Re: IAero won't recognize PT hub
Update: I installed all new batteries, and it scanned speed. However, it says "PIN Off" still. Is there a way to turn it on?

IAero won't recognize PT hub
So I upgraded my ipro to an iaero, so i could use it with my powertap hub. But, the sensor won't sense the hub. when I do "scan," it won't recognize speed. It also won't recognize the hub -- it says "PIN Off" and skips by. Any suggestions? I'm about ready to throw this thing in m...

Re: Powertap Unit or Ibike Unit?
Yes, but what I am wondering about is whether, if I use the ibike head unit, I get all the goodies that comes with it (aero, cadence etc.)?

Powertap Unit or Ibike Unit?
Hi. I am thinking of getting a PT wheel and pairing it with the ibike unit. If I do that, do I get all the other features of the ibike, e.g., altitude, hill degrees, cadence etc. Or do I just get the power readings.

Threshhold Test and Weight
Today I did a threshhold test, 20 minutes, and got a power average of 306w. Afterwards I realized that I have lost a few pounds, and I did not have any water bottles, so my weight setting should have been about 164, rather than the 174 it was set to. How much of an effect would this have on my power...

Erratic Speed Reading
I put new batteries in the ibike, and am now having this problem: the speed reading is very erratic. It goes 13, 5, 3, 14, 0 etc., even though I am going about 18 or 19. I reset it, scanned it again, and it still does it. It picks up wind and rpm. What is going on?

Ibike Keeps Reading Zero MPH
My ibike is just saying "0" for mph, and not picking up the wheel sensor. I changed all the batteries, reset, still nothing. Ideas?

Re: Compatible Trainers Update
I have a Cyclops Fluid 2. In the list of trainers on "devices" it lists three or four with different power outputs at 20 mph. How do I know which one to use? Do I test my power output at 20 mph?

Downhill Power
I have been noticing that when pedaling downhill my PRE is far less than the watts readout. The watts read maybe 5-600, but I feel like it's more like 200-250. Is power overstated on downhills, which is then corrected in the software, or is it just inaccurate?

Re: Where to Mount Unit on TT Bike with New Gizmo
Thanks Boyd. Not sure I got that from your description. Can you send me a copy of the photo? It didn't come out on the forum, where it just says "image" with no .jpg. My email is markfeatherman@gmail.com.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Where to Mount Unit on TT Bike with New Gizmo
I bought the new tube gizmo, and still can't figure out how to mount my ibike. My tt bars are too close together to mount in between (I can't twist the unit on and off). I was going to mount it on my top tube, but it's a little too wide for the unit to be secured. I was thinking I could glue it on t...

Re: Fit Test Watts Per Kilo to FTP Formula?
Thanks Coach Boyd. This may be crossing forums, but in trainingpeaks they ask for watts threshold as a way to figure out training intensities. Do you have any idea if this is the straight watts average over 20 minutes, or is it the FTP formula? Thanks if you know.

Fit Test Watts Per Kilo to FTP Formula?
Hi. Is there a way to convert my Fit Test number (watts per kilo) to a functional threshold Power number? I did the fit test today, and I want to see what the 20 minute average would be. Thanks!
