Re: High vibration power spikes... anyone else?

I get power spikes as well. They usually show as 2000W or so. I have to go through all my files in excel to change them to some nominal value. One problem is that the spikes set the magnitude of the power axis on the graphs which means the 'normal' 200-250W range just looks like a stright line. It w...

Re: Where is your iBike mounted?

It would be great to be able to do the coast downs starting from a higher speed. Keep the 20mph for thoses who can't or don't want to use a higher speed but have a high speed option as well. A user selectable speed would be best but a second selection, say of 25mph would be good and do'able for most...

Re: Rechargeable Batteries

They might be good to use in cold weather; I use a new battery every time I go out in winter as the voltage drops from over 3 volts to under 2.7 in a couple of hours. All batteries drop voltage when it is close to freezing and these might be just right if the nomimal voltage drops from 3.8v to 3.2-i...

Re: The Why's and How's of Wind Offset

It seems like wind measurment is affected by 2 parameters- Wind scaling and wind offset. I see that the wind offset zeros the wind sensor but how does the wind scaling parameter work? How do the two work together to measure wind speed?

Cheers

Re: File Format Change/ New column?

Yes I was wondering the same thing.

It would be useful to have a full disciption of all the header data on the cvs files. Some things are obvious but some are cryptic, and some don't change from one file to the next.

Re: Until I do an accurate calibration...

Because there is not place to put your own cda (although that could be a feature). As it stands right now it's an estimated cda. A user will enter their weight, height, and position on the bars. It's not meant to offer the highest level of accuracy. So, when you add 5 pounds to the weight, the form...

Re: Until I do an accurate calibration...

As for estimated cda, if you are wearing a jacket your cda will be higher than if you were riding in summer clothes, so add about 5 pounds to your current weight and it should adjust for the jacket. As the jacket will give a higher cda, why not increase the cda. Increasing weight does not have any ...

Re: Help

Thanks wellmt.

I fixed the problem by removing the software which was version 2 from my computer and installing version 3. The data then downloaded OK.
