Re: new purchase help
I agree with you, that not a real issue. It's just that, in theory, downsample data with not be the same as average data. But, in reality, this will be insignificant . And if the data are, in fact, average and not downsample, I would say that there is NO issue at ALL. Since, I agree with you, "...

Re: new purchase help
Sorry, but I have to disagree with "R Mc" on this one. Five second recording will yield accurate results just not the same resolution. When an iBike records in 5 seconds it still samples every second then writes the average of those numbers every fifth second. It's not like you're doing 3...

Re: PT Pro+ Power Display Fluctuations
Here some observations about the filtering in the beta firmware 309 : - It's off topic, but I have to say it: The absolute wind speed is great ! - To me, the DFPM filtering in FW309 seem to me a 5 seconds average applied to both the displayed power and the recorded power. There a difference between ...

Re: PT Pro+ Power Display Fluctuations
I have the same issue. It's related to the fact that the PT hub calculate power every second, not at every crank revolution. But the PT computer have the option to smooth the displayed numbers. So if this option exist in their computer, I guest it's something feasible for the iBike since he got a bi...

iAero and PT+ Power rate of display
I paired my PT+ to my iAero without any problem (I got the firmware 3.03) and there is some observations: - The PT+ CPU and the iAero record about the same data, both at 1 sec. interval. That very good. (Better than the Edge 705 ?!) - The PT+ CPU and iAero display about the same numbers. The iAero i...

Bug with Power Meter Comparison
I have a little more details about the problem. I reloaded a file I got from my iAero and done a power meter comparison it looks fine. I opened the Boyd's files who were probematic and it was still problematic. And then I return to the previous files who looks fine and it turn out to be wrong too ! ...

Re: Modification of csv file with Excel
Ok, My files looks perfect in WKO+! But I still dont understand why there is all these dropouts in the power data. Fernando, you should look the file #2 with excel, the power dropouts wasn't there until I open it in the iBike software. The file #3 was the result (a "save as") of openning t...

Re: Modification of csv file with Excel
Thanks Fernando, I think I found my problem. When I save my file (even if I say yes to lose special function), the file I get is not "comma" separated but a file where the data is separated with "semi-colon"... So I opened the file with Wordpad and "Replace" all ";...

Modification of csv file with Excel
Hi, Again, you will have to forgive my poor english. I have an iAero gen III with the trainer firmware but before I had an iAero gen II without it and I have some files (maybe 5) of trainer's workout with speed but without power. There is a way to modify these files to get power data replace with po...
