Re: Recurring Issues / What am I doing wrong

I think I resolved this. I think its something to do with what is stored in the original profile and what is currently being read. We have two wireless units, two sets of sensors and two HRM straps. I think at some time I switched the sensors/HRM strap. So the profiles are set up on the wrong sensor...

Re: Recurring Issues / What am I doing wrong

I did that already and my apologies for not mentioning it.
I also just noticed the tilt was way off.
I (just) re did the tilt and re-scanned, found the sensors, no issue there.

Re: Recurring Issues / What am I doing wrong

I notice this goes back to December but no resolution has been posted. I am having similar issues but with both my Ipro and my wifes Iaero. She got on the trainer yesterday and hit the button, did the wind calibration, batt good then nothing. Never picked up the sensors. Likewise me a few days ago, ...

Re: An important new cycling measurement: Effort Speed

I have not downloaded/installed this yet but I do have a question or more a suggestion for an addition now that this is available. It would be nice to be able to compare a couple of rides over the same route using the effort speed analysis wouldn't it? Is it possible to incorporate this in the softw...

Analysis of route and other things

I went into this feature of IB software and found I could not un-tick the out/back part (actually I can, but it keeps coming back) It was not an out and back course, we do however live on a grid system of roads, north/south/west/east. I started the ride with about 2 mile south then a longer stretch ...

Re: Something is still off in my profile. Please help

Can you go back to your original profile that Boyd tweaked for you. I would "Guess" that a longer stem of the same angle would only require a new tilt setting. At least then, you will be no worse off than before you started to change stuff. Or experiment with your other profile setting for...

Re: Racing in a tri w/ an Ibike

Crazy as it might sound, I would suggest writing yourself a note to put in your swim/run transition gear telling you to power up the Ibike. My wife remembered several miles in at IM Canada,.... OOPS! Also, erase ride data, just in case you are at a high % and you don't have room enough for the whole...

Re: all of my coast-downs are failing

I had a speed problem just a couple of weeks ago. I had changed wheels, when I replaced the sensor magnet I think it was too close to the sensor and was picking up a double signal (perhaps) My speed was all over the place but I could not figure it out until I got home and was able to hear the double...

Re: Review of iSport from a noob rider

Great read, thanks! Are you ready for carbon? Don't know if thats a serious comment but FWIW: Best thing I ever did was get a steel frame custom built for me. It weighs 22lbs fully loaded, rides like its on rails and is a dream to be on. Do I want a lighter bike? yes I do, and I have one, its alumin...

Presumably, not before buying the garmin firmware though?
I just bought a 310Xt and it paired the sensors but does not display power (I really don't need it to, I was just checking)
Or am I wrong?

Re: Strange power numbers for LT test

Certainly my comment was based purely on anecdotal situations, myself included. What I have found/noted was certainly the case following a series of hard run or bike sessions where intensity was higher than it was supposed to have been (the more is better syndrome:-) thus causing the over training. ...

Re: Strange power numbers for LT test

It would be interesting to put your seat back to where it was and then run the test again, same route and compare. Ensure you mark/note where the seat was before you do (bin there done that) The trade off for comfort can sometimes be power, thats the reason I make the suggestion. Please keep us upda...

Thanks folks I neglected to mention anything we get needs to be wrist mounted for running and swimming so I think options would be limited (now I have dome limited research) to the 405/405CX perhaps? Another Garmin Question

We have an Iaero and an Ipro. My wife is the Iaero user and she is a triathlete. We do not need the ability to see power data on a Garmin, according to her :( She does want to use one HRM strap for each of the three disciplines, swim, run and bike. What is the least we would need to buy from Garmin ...

Lost my tilt

This is a new issue I believe.I have already requested tech support help. Thought I would post it anyway. I lost my speed reading on my last ride and assumed I must have moved the unit. I stopped and reset my tilt. OK for a short while then I lost speed again. Re set tilt and finished the ride. Unit...

Possibly a scan problem? for Velocomp please.

I added a post to another thread in the board but I thought I would start another thread. First a question: Over what distance can the ibike/aero/pro pickup the wireless signals from cad, speed or HR. The following has only started to happen since loading f/w 4.02 into both our units. I went for a r...

Best I have managed is elastic/rubber bands. There are photos available elsewhere (I think) or descriptions of solutions that others have come up with. It is a little frustrating, I agree. But the bands work for my wifes unit and she has had no problems. Her aero bottle also tends to lay against the...

Is it possible perhaps to now change that Cda number in profiles, save (the original profile info) the profile and apply it to a ride file made with the original profile (the one that has a value of 0.256 Cda) keep making changes (and apply to the ride file) until you remove the discrepancy (or get ...

Just one more point regarding your calib ride.
It was a 2 mile out AND back, along the same route?
Its just that the elevation does not look too symmetrical.
Just a thought.

Hello scsteven and welcome to the forum! I too am in the learning curve and awaiting some help with profiles and information. I can only answer and comment on a few things I am afraid. 1. The training with power is only available with the Isport as far as I am aware. 2. On your calibration ride file...
