Re: It's here: GPS for your Newton!
John, congratulations to all at iBike for the new Tracker feature. Very creative, works great. One question - is there a way to get Google Earth to "fly" the route once you open the exported file in that application? I couldn't figure out how to do that. Thanks again for keeping the iBike ...

Rain damage
:( Last weekend I rode with my Newton for the first time in a heavy rain shower. I was surprised that it kept working, but then noticed that water was accumulating around the edges of the display. When I got home, I shook out the water and left the unit to dry. Two days later it was completely dead....

Re: Where's My Newton?
When will it be possible to purchase a GT key for the Newton? The link of the re-order webpage doesn't seem to work yet. Would be nice to have it when or just after my Newton arrives so I can use the Garmin sensor already on my bike. By the way, the new iBike cadence/speed sensor isn't great with th...

Re: Apple Lion compatability
Travis - my software (now 5.1.3) has been working fine for a month, after installing the latest drivers as you recommended. Then yesterday it didn't work again - another driver issue. So I reinstalled the USB drivers from the file in your post, and then the software worked fine. This AM I launched t...

Re: Apple Lion compatability
Many thanks to John and Travis for wonderful support on a Sunday!! I sent an email to John, telling him about my Lion problem. He responded very quickly, put Travis in touch with me, who directed me to the lastest NI-VISA update. Did that, everything worked perfectly. On a Sunday!

Re: OS X Lion
I am having the same problem. Software crashes when trying to connect to iBike and download a ride. I reinstalled the USB drivers from the lastest version available on the iBike website. Is there a more recent driver version available somewhere else? Also tried running Disk Utility. The iBike unit d...

Apple Lion compatability
I upgraded my Mac to the most recent Apple operating system. Now the iBike software crashes when trying to download ride data. Seems like you need to do a software modification for the new system. What is being planned?

Incorrect mileage numbers?
I recently updated to the current firmware for my Aero. Since then I have noted that the bike unit incorrectly reports ride distance - crazy numbers 100 miles greater than actual distance. The ride files, however, are correct except for the file name, which reports same distance number as displayed ...

Re: New iBike 4.01 software
John, I've been trying install 4.01 onto an new iMac running OSX 10.6.2. When I start the application, I get an "iBikeMac.app alert: Could not find the LabVIEW Runtime, you may need to install it." I did indeed install the LabView as prompted, and restarted the iMac afterwards. Any idea wh...
