Re: Newton +6 pairing Garmin Varia
Garmin Varia is a rearview radar and tail light and its purpose is to warn by a radar if a car is approaching from behind so I need to know if this message can be sent to my Newton. Newton should receive from Varia a written warning on the screen or an acoustic advice when a car is near me. Please t...

I'd like to know if there is compatibility between Newton +6 and Garmin Varia, and if the answer is yes how can I pair the two devices? On the 12th December a car hitted me from behind and I reported a lot of injuries and 2 broken ribs, broken left scapula so I want to be warned if a car approaches ...

Re: Newton problems with power
Good news!!! I don't know what happened but,all of a sudden, all by itself my Newton has begun to work well, I didn't change settings or do a new calibration; this is a mystery for me. I'm really happy because I do appreciate its accuracy and its versatility and it's a very valuable device; you must...

Re: Newton problems with power
Thanks. The mount is firmly attached to the handlebar. I didn’t change the position of the Newton in both rides. Shouldn’t be the same error in the slope? Or you think the Newton is moving by itself?

Newton problems with power
Hi John,
Could you analyze these 2 rides of my Newton?
At the beginning in the first ride the power went up too much and in the second ride the power didn't start at all.
Please help me.

Re: Newton +6 : Battery life
Unfortunately Tom told me that he can't do anything for the battery of my Newton +6 because it is no longer on production. I found another rider in Italy who sell a Newton +6 and he used it for a month and then he left it in the box without recharging the battery for a year! I need an advice from yo...

Newton +6 : Battery life
Do you still replace the battery on newton 6+?
I'm starting to have a few problems with the battery, it lasts less hours.
I live in Italy can you tell me how we do and the cost of it?
Thanks.

Newton +6 pairs to Garmin
Few questions :
1. Is it possible to pair Newton +6 to Garmin?
2. How can I pair Newton +6 to Garmin?
3. Could I have a list of Garmin’s devices that work well with Newton +6?
I’m thinking of Garmin edge 130 to start with.
Please replay ASAP, thanks.

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
What do you mean with “sensors awake”? Which is the best time to do the new scan? 1. before going for a ride when I'm still at home 2. during the ride when I'm cycling To tell you the truth I already tried both metods and the Newton's screen shows : spd found, cadence found and then it always stays ...

Re: Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
Hi,
after I mounted Garmin's sensors everything went ok.
Now a new problem : after charging my Newton I go for a ride and on the screen for all the time appear “2 Scan” or “Cadence found” and the Newton doesn't start.
What can I do?

Newton +6 : speed and cadence sensors
Hi,
It's me again with a new question.
I'd like to know if the Garmin speed and cadence magnet-less sensors are compatible with Newton +6.
Is better to put the speed sensor on the front or back hub?
Corrado

Re: Newton +6 : help with Avg Watts
Thank you for your prompt replay, 1) I swear I have a Newton +6 not a PowerPod 2) I noticed that my rolling resistance was way too high and now you have confirmed it. 3) Which is the name of the attached profile to load in my Newton? Is this profile suitable for my Newton? How can I load the attache...
