Re: Excessive power peaks

Ok, understood, but what values of Cda should I use? I lowered it somewhat looking for better response on the negative slopes, but my normal position is on the hoods. It seems that decreasing the value of Cda does not help in the downs, by the way of working of the PP 0,340 in hoods is ok? It is the...

Re: Excessive power peaks

What I do not understand why the Powerpod increases watts when switching from hoods to drops ... Should not the watts decrease as the position is more aerodynamic? When you send me this last profile corrected in the values of Cda Crr I will use those same values in the profile for the second bike I ...

Re: Excessive power peaks

Most of the time I go in the hoods. What value of Cda would be appropriate? It is currently at 0.310. I measure 1,72 cm and weight 70 kg. I use the Crr value corresponding to the "Tire grade: Utility" Should it be lower? Could you send me the corrected profile again? I do not see it in the...

Re: Excessive power peaks

All these problems make me think that something is not working well. The innumerable calibrations have not solved it (even one of the profiles that you returned me kindly, corrected, made the situation even worse) the firmware is updated .... I am very disappointed with these problems. I would like ...

Excessive power peaks

They continue to appear excessive peaks of power on negative slopes, which do not correspond to the strength in the pedals. In those cases it always shows wind readings that seem excessive to me, as it appears in the catches. Could it be a problem with the wind sensor hardware?

I am sending you the latest O & B calibration for one of the bikes. Please check the files, is everything ok?
Is the wind sensor working well?

Re: Tailwind

Commenting on this second route, that on returning (kms 50 to 62), the wind against was quite strong, something that is not reflected in the route file

Re: Tailwind

I send another route with another profile, for a second bike, which suffers from the same problem with the tailwind. Interestingly, the incorrect wind scaling is very similar in the two profiles, after the O & B calibration. Please analyze this second profile. As soon as I test the first correct...

Re: Tailwind

The route was made with two more companions. I guess that's why the drafting strokes appear.
I'll try the new profile.
Thank you very much

Tailwind

In almost all the routes predominates, I think artificially, the tailwind. Could it be due to the wind scaling present in the profile? Should I do another calibration? I made a couple of changes regarding the profile obtained in the round trip (CdA, and Crr) but did not modify the Wind Scaling Any s...

Cda is correct?

In view of this route, made with the profile I send you, do you consider that the Cda used is correct? How to know? I measured 172 cm and 70 kg in weight and I go in hoods, but also in drops, as far as possible

Eq of motion

It is seen that the red line of "Eq of motion" coincides a lot with the one corresponding to the route Does it mean that the values obtained by the Powerpod are very close to theorists predicted by the equation? How are these graphs to be interpreted?
