Does rider position matter during calibration ride?

Is the assumption that your calibration ride will be done in your race position? The instructions say it can be leisurely, but are you calculating things like CdA on the cal ride, where I should pay attention to simulating my race position (i.e. aerobar tri position)?

I'm confused by all the Newton 6 information. Does the Newton 6 device actually use a newer firmware version beyond FW5.x? Or is Newton 6 essentially running 5.x with an upgraded shell & wind port? I recently picked up a used Newton 4, and will be upgrading the firmware soon, once I verify every...
