Re: What triggers 8 minute recalibration?
I have a question about that 8 minute calibration too. Just to understand how things work. Does PP change the profile after this calibration? When I should somehow how change the angle of the mount a little PP will calibrate at the start of the next ride. But will it do that again on a 2nd ride? Or ...

Re: PowerPod tip
Thanks, that is a good tip.
The PowerPod connector is waterproof/resistant, but keeping water and dirt out can't be bad.

Re: Updating a ride then uploading to Strava
In Isaac you go to File/Export for Strava. This will save the ride as a .csv file.
Strava says it only accepts .tcx .fit or .gpx files. But uploading a .csv works fine.

Re: Significant change suggested after "normal" ride
When I look at your ride file I see that the cadence is missing after 8 minutes. Not sure if that is causing the problems when checking the calibration.

Re: Significant change suggested after "normal" ride
I have read on these forums that it is better to do a short out and back ride. I try to keep it at a total of around 8 to 10 minutes. That is enough to get useful info and not too long to risk changes in wind force or direction. When I do an out and back I do it during a longer ride. And stop at the...

Re: Significant change suggested after "normal" ride
The check calibration function only works on out and back rides.
You have to start and end in the same place and follow the same route out and back.
Or you have to do a part of your ride as an out and back and split that part from your ride file. Then use that part to check calibration.

Re: Missing HR data
What worked for me when PP didn't see my cadens sensor was to hold the PP power button for 4 seconds to start searching for Ant+ sensors. Maybe you can do it in Isaac too. But I haven't tried that myself. In the profile you can see the HR ID and it looks like you can edit it and send it to the PP. Y...

Re: "Convert to Road Ride"
No, that is nothing to worry about.
I see that option on all my rides and have never set it to use a trainer either.
To me it looks like an option to fix things for when you forgot to turn off trainer mode after using it.

Re: Calibration problem with an out-back ride.
@Marks. Thanks. I had found that you can use "analize route" to fix the first minutes of a ride somewhere on this forum (through Google) I was going to post it after testing it today. You beat me to it. On today's ride the power was very low during the first minutes. Where it was high two ...

Re: Calibration problem with an out-back ride.
Yes, the files look fine. Atleast after the first 8 minutes. Is it possible to correct the first 8 minutes with Isaac? And will the PP now remember the corrections that it made during the first 8 minutes on this ride when I start a new ride in the next days? Or will it start with the loaded profile ...

Calibration problem with an out-back ride.
I only had the original mount that I swapped between 2 bikes. But now I have received my 2nd mount and did a calibration ride. The first 8 minutes power was way to high but after that settled on normal numbers. About 30 minutes in to the ride I did a 14 minute out-back segment. And split that part f...

Re: Questions from new user
At the moment I have just one mount for two bikes, so I have to move the PP over complete with the mount. To get it back in the same spot I use a spirit level app on my smartphone. I use the PowerPod logo on the side as a guide. With that horizontal I know it is back in the same place as it was duri...

Elevation and temperature are way off.
I was looking through the data from my last rides and noticed that the elevation and temperature are way off. Temperature in the files reads about 10-11 deg C to low and elevation reads -65 mtr and should be about +5 mtr. The elevation changes look fine, they are just shifted down by 70 mtr. Is ther...

Re: How do I setup Powerpod for a MTB?
Here are the file.
The out and back ride is done on different road types from tarmac to muddy.
Is it normal that the calibration part of the ride in the first ride isn't saved to the PP?
I checked the tire circumference again while seated on the bike. It is 2270 mm

How do I setup Powerpod for a MTB?
I have setup PP for my roadbike with the calibration ride and after that a 6 mile out and back ride. That seems to have worked for the roadbike. Compared to what I have seen on the indoor trainer this feels pretty close. Now I have don't about the same for the MTB but have some questions. When I con...

Blocking wind port
I got my Powerpod delivered today. And it was raining hard when I finally had time to do a first ride. So that has to wait till tomorrow. That gave me time to see if I could install it on my mountainbike. On the roadbike it was easy to find a good place on the handlebars to mount it. But on the moun...
