AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I have a Brompton which I would like to mount the PP on. Does anyone know a quick hack to get the standard mount that comes with the PP to fit narrow bars ~ 25mm?

Any one tried to use the PP on a Brompton - and managed to mount it without the cables disrupting the air flow or affecting the bike fold?

Usually the green light will come on then later turn off but it doesn't seem to connect/show any power readings.

As a work around. I stop my garmin. Save my ride. Restart garmin then restart PP and all seems to work again.
