AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hello, I have read the PowerStroke documentation from the link in Isaac. As I can do very long ride (>6 hours), is it possible to disable the PowerStroke feature when enabled on a PowerPod? Finally, the PowerPod Tracker also looks interesting but I do not want to have to carry my phone to record GPS...
