do bike storage conditions impact "start of ride" accuracy?

Hi John, I noticed in this post [ http://ibikeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=3459&p=18888&hilit=stand#p18888 ] that you mention putting or storing a bike on a mechanic stand may cause an issue. Can you elaborate? does PP average the sensor readings over storage/immediately before power-o...

adding sensor to powerpod bike profile

Quick question-

I want to add a DFPM to one of my bike profiles, What is the most efficient way to do this?

Should I scrub the profile from PP and conduct a new calibration? or edit the profile in Isaac?

I have the ANT+ sensor signal #.

Re: Anticipated troublesome ride conditions?

Thanks John! And, for the record, here's a ride with the corrected settings. looks much better than before. [Edit: incredibly windy day!] a couple of questions: 1.) I see in Newton that the CdA is a static setting- is this optimized in the original calibration? or is it a "living" value th...

Re: Anticipated troublesome ride conditions?

Hi John, Thanks for this- I repaired the files and poked around at them. I noticed that my elevation values are showing remarkably negative values. Does this impact any aspect of the device? [Edit] found this thread that deals with elevation adjustments post hoc -http://ibikeforum.com/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Anticipated troublesome ride conditions?

Hi Jim & John, sorry for the lengthy delay in getting back to you on this- I've been riding with this occassionally over the last couple of months, but have been short on time to try and figure it out. attached are a few ride files, the two more recent ones are on this bike. From what I can tell...

Anticipated troublesome ride conditions?

Glad to see this new PowerPod Forum is up! I'm still learning about what to expect out of the powerpod, and am curious if there are any conditions where we know the powerpod will suffer/report erroneous figures, based on carryover of the technology from the Newton/prototype testing? e.g. today I too...

PowerPod set up/ config

I just unwrapped my powerpod LE, collected a couple of training rides, and am poking around at Isaac to make sure I have it configured/set up right. a few quick questions: 1.) is the USB port on the back 100% waterproof? since it is bare/exposed, I'm a cautious about exposing it to light rain 2.) do...
