Does this mean that there is no way for the PowerPod to *measure* the Crr and CdA values?
IMO depending on the bike type it is not sufficient to use the initial setup which only guesses depending on rider position and tire size/pressure.

Re: PowerPod and coast downs
So, does the PowerPod really use the one out and back calibration ride to determine correct CdA and Crr values, even for unusal (non race) bike geometries and seating positions? No coast downs needed?

PowerPod versions and features
I'm happy user of iBike Newton on my 4 bikes, and I consider upgrading to PowerPod on some of them (now that I have a Garmin Edge 1000). Before I do this I have some questions: 1. I'm in Europe (Germany) and do not want to buy in the US online shop, instead I found the skopre shop in italy: https://...

Cal and kJ
I'm wondering what these units mean on the newton. Example: This morning I rode 20.9 k with an average power of 149W, it took 54 minutes 48 seconds. The newton displayed 468 cal and 489 kJ. 54:48 is 3288 seconds, 3288 s * 149 W = 489921 Ws = 489921 J = 489.921 kJ. This is also what the Newton displa...

Newton on a Brompton folding bike
Hi, I've attached my Newton (in addition to other bikes) to my brompron folding bike. I did an initial setup which generated the values Crr = 0.0087 and CdA = 0.39. After some days, I did (again) a cal ride followed by 6 coats downs. This generated totally diffent values: Crr = 0.0183 and CdA = 0.69...
