AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I've successfully initiated and completed prior cal rides. Now, my Newton won't show Start but rather just keeps flashing Cal Ride no matter what I do -no reaction to pedaling or buttons but for abort cal when holding the middle button.

I mounted my Newton between the aerobars just before the point where the bars angle up. I am wondering what the best way is to route and fasten the tube? I have tried sort of an S curve by taping it with duct tape to the bottom of the base bar. I don't like this as the tape is tacky looking, not ent...

Will someone please clue me into the proper protocol for and significance of wind calibration. i have followed the meager instructions and am frustrated that weird wind factors have been radically skewing my power results. Thank you!

There seems to be much that is discussed here and assumed knowledge that goes way beyond what is in the Newton Instructions pdf. Is there another source users should be reading beyond the pdf? I.E should one read manuals for the other/earlier iBike products to be fully versed?

Yup, I've got 1.0.2 , tried again and still get "file format not recognized."

Thank you for the good explanation. However, when I saved the attachment (Fixed Profile IBP) to Isaac for Mac, I get a blocking message that said the file format was not recognized.??

I wonder why the power number starts out at say 290 on the originall download and then resets to say 180 when I come back to the file later. I also wonder as to other rides, why I often get a query as to whether the ride started and ended in the same place. If I say no, the power figure dramatically...
