Re: A ride with my iBike and PowerTap

Ditto for my IAero and powertap . This little fellow has really come of age.

Outstanding upgrades.
Thanks to the entire Ibike team.

Re: Can some of the stronger riders upload their power files?

Cool,

but a few request on the data. Can they be posted after hitting the auto analyze button, so that cda, and other numbers are filled in.

they download ok, but could be tidy if saved as csv file for download, not open in browser then saved.

Maybe some wko files would be nice. NP etc..

Re: Spoke Magnet Sliding

Best fix for flat spokes is to drop by a Raidoshack and pick up the small ceramic super magnets. Epoxy or superglue onto the spoke.

Re: Riding in different positions

I would suggest doing a coast down in the riding position of drops or hoods, whatever takes up most of the ride. When you climb aero becomes less of an issue because of the lower climbing speed and the ibike pretty much nails power on hills.

Re: interesting data on cdA Crr for Tour Calif rider

yes, TT position , numbers in the screen shot that are cool are the 2cm increment moves up or down on stem and the resulting change in cdA as measured in the wind tunnel.

TD = Tom Danielson . follow the link to saris for the video. Sort...

Re: iBike vs Power Tap SL

What sort of interval are you looking at for peak power? When you yank on the bars for a sprint you will be increasing tilt and thus max power reading. Now if your seated 1minute sprint power of 1400 watts at 150 rpm is off, then there is cause for concern. Hit 800 watts for 3 minutes and you can wi...
